Vacancies are distributed in the advertisement against provincial quotas (Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh Rural, Sindh Urban, Balochistan, Ex-FATA, AJK, and Open Merit).
Applicants who wish to apply must have at least 16 Years of Education. They must have qualifications in Media Studies, Communication, Journalism, IR, Peace & Conflict Studies, Terrorism & Security, Security Studies, Criminology, Psychology, Strategic Studies, Statistics, Mathematics, Management Sciences, Social Sciences, Economics, Finance, Banking, IT, Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Data Sciences.
The age limit for each vacancy is described, including five years of general age relaxation. NACTA will conduct a test/interview for the selection of the candidate for a regular appointment. Test fees, if any, will be paid by the candidates.
Retired Armed Forces officers must have retired within the last two years. The minimum and maximum age shall be calculated from the closing date of application submission.
