Federal Government announces Prime Minister Internship program across the country. 60 thousand engineering graduates will be offered internships in the engineering sector. In addition to this, vocational institutions will be established to offer technical and skills training to the youth.
On the direction of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mr. Shehbaz Sharif, the Ministry of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives has launched the Ba-Ikhtiyar Naujawan Internship Program to ensure the economic empowerment of Pakistan’s youth. The program is pursuing this mission by awarding 60,000 paid internships to young graduates across Pakistan. This portal provides a one-stop-shop for eligible youth to apply for Ba-Ikhtiyar Naujawan Internship Program (BNIP).
Under the program, 20 thousand internships will be offered in PSDP programs, and 40,000 internships will be in Government, Private, and Development sectors. Internees will be paid PKR: 25,000 to 40,000 per month. The internships will be offered for a period of 6 to 12 months.
